IFAF Project Description

Biofuels need to be carbon neutral and produced in large quantities. This project will produce 1 million tonnes per year from 100 refineries distributed throughout a total of 500,000 Hectares of dryland plantations in Sub Saharan Africa. All production will be carbon neutral and all the industrial infrastructure surrounding the project will be locally owned and run. This page shows what is required and how it is being done. The underlying objective is to use the worlds demand for reduced greenhouse gas emissions to power some economic growth in a part of the world that needs it.
