We have many projects under development - some are now taking shape on the ground. This section invites discussion from anyone who wants to get involved at any level. Opinions and thoughts are welcome and needed from those who know the countries. The Foundation has the engineers who know how to design and develop needed products and the companies to make them - we know how to dig ore out of the ground and smelt and refine it - we know how to build tractors and washing machines or whatever is needed. The objective though is to support the people of these countries in establishing their own industry - to do that we have to provide what is needed where and what can be done. This board is where we find out those needs and where we find the people to help us help them - so the more discussion the better.

No stupid or inappropriate stuff though - if you want to make hand operated oil presses or a treadle operated irrigation pumps this is not the place to be. Those things are available from hundreds of aid organizations who think they help.

We believe in companies that make tractors that can easily till 40 hectares - companies that make powered pumps that provide reliable irrigation where and on the scale it is needed. We don’t believe a few percent improvement on the return to a cotton grower means much – a company making the machinery that enables a co-operative of cotton growers to add more value steps does though – that is an increase of several hundred percent gained by the growers selling a high quality product made from their cotton.
